The real test at a glance
The five chapters, in test order. Picture a coronation: what Britain believes, where it is, where it came from, how it lives today, and how it's governed.
How to actually remember this
Active recall
Turn on Recall Mode (in the menu, or top right on a computer) to hide the facts and test yourself instead of re-reading them. Testing yourself beats re-reading, every time.
Spaced repetition
Each chapter card below shows when you last opened it, and the Chapters menu shows the same with a coloured dot (green = fresh, amber = due). Revisit at increasing gaps — day 1, day 3, day 7 — instead of cramming one topic in one sitting.
Dual coding
Pictures next to facts (see Chapter 3) create a second memory trace. Text + image beats text alone.
Mnemonics & chunking
Each chapter opens with one mnemonic that chains its whole structure — memorise the chain, and the details hang off it.
Study the five chapters
Work through them in order, or start with the one you're weakest on. The test draws questions from all five.
Values & Principles
The five founding principles, your rights and responsibilities, and exactly what the test day looks like.
